West Point Lake June 2010

This is the one post that I have used pictures of people other than us. I did try to use the good pictures! This camping trip is about the people. It was our first Area 1 Atlanta Center Camporee!

This is JJ's camper. He left Tina and the three girls and one boy and went back home to go to work. He was able to come back after his early shift was over on Wednesday.

This one belongs to us. I don't know why we look so cluttered except that it was just too hot (yes Brandon, I DID say TOO HOT!) to clean things outside. At least we had an outside because that means we had an inside. We had air conditioning, a queen size pillowtop memory foam mattress, TV with satellite, homemade waffles, and even fresh espresso! Such Luxury!

JJ and Sam were the old guys of the trip. The younger controllers camped in tents.

We had lots of kids and lots of boats they could use.

Tina and Crystal had some shade. We later placed a canopy over this tent pad. We then had all adults clustered in the shade and following the shade to the sides as the sun shifted.

The adults enjoyed the boats too.

Our campsites went from the reddish tent on the far left to the tents clustered in the trees near the right.

Some parents brought kids out for a day trip.
